Hi all! First time post so go easy on me. I’m looking for some help figuring on when my P-bass was built. I had it set up recently and the guy took a few pictures of the heel when he too it off. I’ll enclose the pictures below. Thanks for any and all help. CD3E4D88-CAC0-4CCB-A817-D1C89A034DB5.jpeg  F98E17CE-4A88-4E99-A7E4-C268453520B6.jpeg  10331D75-0C1C-47E1-A858-89364D1525C5.jpeg

According to the an online dater source that SN# comes up with this.

Guitar Info

Your guitar was made at the
Fullerton Plant (Fender - CBS Era), USA
in 1975
Production Number: 617388

However, the coding  on the neck seems to indicate something else.  Jan 2006????

What do you know about the bass and what year do you believe it is?

Perhaps the neck was replaced at some point?

I'd love to see a headstock shot, that would clear some confusion for sure

Actually some shots of the entire bass would be helpful.

If that SN# is legit it's a 1975 but there are sources where you can purchase a neck plate with any number you like stamped into them so that a more current model might be made to look more vintage than it truly is.  Hopefully that's not the case here.
